In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Albia Blue Demons volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Panthers.

The Blue Demons (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarke (Osceola, IA). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Clarke beat Saydel (Des Moines, IA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 9. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE).
