The Bryant Hurricanes (Irvington, AL) volleyball knocked off the visiting Resurrection Catholic Eagles (Pascagoula, MS), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Hurricanes now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Baker for a 7A Area 1 bout on Monday, September 9. Bryant will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Resurrection Catholic drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host East Marion (Columbia, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a Class 1A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, September 10. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 13-6. East Marion lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS)
