The Cristo Rey Tampa Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Lakeside Christian Lions to 2 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to American Youth Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10. Cristo Rey Tampa will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Winthrop College Prep Academy (Riverview, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Lakeside Christian drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Canterbury (St. Petersburg, FL) to play the Crusaders in a 1A District 11 outing on Monday, September 9. The Crusaders come into the outing with a record of 2-6.
