In Thursday's league challenge, the host Southside Christian Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Faith Christian Academy Angels.

The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Victory Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL). The Soldiers enter the Southeastern Christian East District challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Victory Christian Academy beat Wayne Christian Academy (Jesup, GA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Angels meet the Wayne Christian Academy Eagle (Jesup, GA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Faith Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Eagle enter the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Victory Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL).
