Next up, the Cardinals confront the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) in a Cedar Run game, on Tuesday, September 10. Gainesville will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Patriot (Nokesville, VA).

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Lancers go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Lewis was dropped by Falls Church (Falls Church, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
