Next up, the Lions confront the Waxahachie Prep Warriors (Waxahachie, TX) in a 1A Region I District 3 game, on Thursday, September 12. Providence Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record.

The Swordsmen (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Savoy (Savoy, TX). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Savoy gained a win over Forestburg (Forestburg, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
