In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host St. Mary Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Glen Lake Lakers.
The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern Michigan Christian (McBain, MI). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Northern Michigan Christian beat Farwell (Farwell, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lakers play the Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI) in a Northwest challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Glen Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
