In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Harrisburg Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Manila Lions.

The Hornets (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR). The Bobcats come into the 3A 3 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Walnut Ridge lost by Harding Academy (Searcy, AR), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR) in a 3A 3 challenge, on Monday, September 9. Manila will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Prairie Grove (Prairie Grove, AR).
