In Thursday's league challenge, the host Kasson-Mantorville Komets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lake City Tigers.

The Komets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake City (Lake City, MN). The Tigers come into the Hiawatha Valley challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Lake City lost by Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) in a Hiawatha Valley challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Lake City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Komets come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Byron (Byron, MN).
