Virginia High School Volleyball - Western Branch over Lakeland

The Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Bruins now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Grassfield for a Southeastern bout on Tuesday, September 10. Western Branch will clash with a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-1 league win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Lakeland drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Hornets in a Southeastern bout on Thursday, September 12. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 1-2.
