The Southwest Roughriders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves to 0 in the Roughriders league triumph on Thursday.

The Roughriders now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] for a D1 District 11 outing on Tuesday, September 10. Southwest will play a team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over South Loup (Arnold, NE). The record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Maywood/Hayes Center drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Mullen (Mullen, NE) to play the Broncos in a non-league outing on Friday, September 6.
