The Rosa Fort Lions volleyball squad (Tunica, MS), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting North Panola Cougars (Sardis, MS)

With the win, North Panola improves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Cougars host Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS) to encounter the Hawks in a Class 3A Region 2 battle on Monday, September 9. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 1-1.

The Lions now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kossuth for a Class 3A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, September 10. Rosa Fort will encounter a Aggies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Aggies record now stands at 15-8.
