With the win, Pierce County advances its record to 15-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-9. Tattnall County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Liberty County (Hinesville, GA)

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brantley County for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Wayne County will face a Herons squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Savannah Classical Academy (Savannah, GA). The Herons record now stands at 9-11.
