Indiana High School Volleyball - Winchester Community over Union County

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN) and the visiting Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), observed Winchester Community's volleyball team top Union County by a count of 3-0.

The Golden Falcons (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Golden Bears enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Monroe Central was knocked off by Cowan (Muncie, IN), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Patriots meet the Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles (Cambridge City, IN) in a Tri-Eastern contest, on Thursday, September 12. Union County will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN).

In the JV Match, the Lady Falcons were defeated by the Lady Patriots in 2 with the following scores: 17-25, 15-25.
