Silliman Institute Wildcats (Clinton, LA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Brookhaven Academy Cougars (Brookhaven, MS), 38-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Silliman Institute upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Central Hinds Academy (Raymond, MS) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, September 12. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 3-0. Central Hinds Academy won 41-8 in their recent non-league match against North Delta (Batesville, MS)
