In Friday's non-league game, the Wabasso Rabbits (Wabasso, MN) football team overcame the visiting Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN), by a tally of 22-0.

With the win, Wabasso advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Rabbits host Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman (Granada, MN) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

The Cougars now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host New Ulm Cathedral for a District 9 South - West (9 Man) bout on Friday, September 12. Cedar Mountain will encounter a Greyhounds team coming off a 34-0 league win over Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-1.
