Pennsylvania High School Football - Halifax toppled by Steelton-Highspire

The Halifax Wildcats football team (Halifax, PA), dropped 44-22 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers (Steelton, PA)

With the win, Steelton-Highspire betters its record to 2-0 on the year. The Steamrollers host Upper Dauphin Area (Elizabethville, PA) to confront the Trojans in a Mid-Penn - Capital contest on Thursday, September 11. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 0-3. Upper Dauphin Area lost 49-14 in their recent non-league contest against West Perry (Elliottsburg, PA)

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Line Mountain Eagles (Herndon, PA) in a PIAA District IV bout, on Friday, September 12. Halifax will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 35-0 league win over Juniata (Mifflintown, PA).
