Illinois High School Football - Hononegah beat Jefferson

The Hononegah Indians football team scored 28 points and held the visiting Jefferson J-Hawks to 12 in the Indians league victory on Friday.
In their next game, the Indians face the Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL) in a Northern Illinois challenge, on Friday, September 12. Hononegah will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 28-6 league win over Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL).
The J-Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Titans enter the Northern Illinois challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Boylan Catholic topped Rockford East (Rockford, IL), 21-7, in a league outing.
