The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Reynolds Raiders (Greenville, PA) and the visiting Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA), witnessed Reynolds's football squad wallop Mercer by a count of 32-0.
The Raiders (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Blue Devils enter the District 10 Region 1 contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Sharpsville was crushed by Brookfield (Brookfield, OH), 46-21, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Farrell for a District 10 Region 1 battle on Friday, September 12. Mercer will encounter a Steelers team coming off a 45-3 non-league win over Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA). The Steelers record now stands at 1-1.
