In Friday's non-league match, the host Midland Trail Patriots football squad scored a decisive 55-0 triumph over the Poca The Dots.

The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Braxton County bounced Gilmer County (Glenville, WV), 49-14, in a league challenge.
