Nebraska High School Football - Seward falls to Waverly

The Waverly Vikings felled the visiting Seward Bluejays football team by a score of 28-20 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings play the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Waverly will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bison go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 27-20 non-league win over Aurora (Aurora, NE).

The Bluejays (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Pius X (Lincoln, NE). The Thunderbolts come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Pius X knocked off Blair (Blair, NE), 14-7, in a non-league test.
