In Friday's non-league challenge, the White Mountains Spartans (Whitefield, NH) soccer squad nipped the visiting Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH), by a margin of 1-0.
The Spartans now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Colebrook Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. White Mountains will encounter a Mohawks squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Portsmouth Christian Academy (Dover, NH). The Mohawks record now stands at 2-1.
The Huskies (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Gilford (Gilford, NH). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Gilford held off Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH), 8-0, in a non-league contest.
