In Friday's league outing, the visiting Durango Demons soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Palisade Bulldogs.
The Demons (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Fruita Monument by Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenwood Springs for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 9. Palisade will play a Demons squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO). The Demons record now stands at 2-0.
