In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Appalachian Christian School Trailblazers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Cornerstone Christian Cougars.

The Trailblazers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Regents (Charlottesville, VA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Cougars now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgeview Christian for a challenge on Monday, September 8. Cornerstone Christian will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.
