Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Los Molinos Bulldogs (Los Molinos, CA), 2-0 in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burney for a non-league game on Friday, September 5. Weed will face a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hayfork (Hayfork, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.
The Bulldogs (1-10) will now prepare for their outing against Loyalton (Loyalton, CA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, Loyalton defeated Portola (Portola, CA), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
