Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA) and the host Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA), saw Abington's soccer squad triumph over Wissahickon by a score of 7-1.

The Galloping Ghosts (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA). The Colonials enter the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Plymouth Whitemarsh was overwhelmed by Hatboro-Horsham (Horsham, PA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Trojans now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Quakertown for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Wissahickon will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 1-1 non-league Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
