Fans at Friday's league battle between the Kutztown Cougars (Kutztown, PA) and the visiting Antietam Mountaineers (Reading, PA), saw Kutztown's soccer squad triumph over Antietam by a count of 6-0.

The Cougars (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA). The Indians enter the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Upper Perkiomen was overwhelmed by Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA), 4-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Mountaineers battle the Northumberland Christian Warriors (Northumberland, PA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 6. Antietam will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 5-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA).
