Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY) and the host Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY), saw Wallkill's soccer squad prevail over Saugerties by a count of 8-4.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Rondout Valley (Accord, NY). The Ganders enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Rondout Valley by Mount Academy (Esopus, NY), 6-1, in a league match.
