The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) and the host Bartlesville Bruins (Bartlesville, OK), observed Preston's softball team get by Bartlesville by a tally of 4-3.
The Pirates (10-3) will now prepare for their bout against Coweta (Coweta, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 7-10 record. In their last bout, Coweta was nipped by Muskogee (Muskogee, OK), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Glenpool Warriors (Glenpool, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 5. Bartlesville will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK).
