The Butner Eagles (Cromwell, OK) softball overwhelmed the host Calvin Bulldogs (Calvin, OK), 32-19 in Friday's league bout.

The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Macomb (Macomb, OK). The Hornets go into the non-league bout with a 11-7 record. In their last bout, Macomb was routed by Strother (Seminole, OK), 4-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK) in a Class B contest, on Monday, September 8. Calvin will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 8-11 record after their 9-5 league win over Varnum (Seminole, OK).
