In Friday's non-league match, the host Midwest City Bombers softball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Community Christian Royals.
The Bombers (10-1) will now prepare for their match against Douglass (Oklahoma City, OK). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Douglass was routed by Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK), 12-11, in a non-league game.
The Royals now hold a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Crossings Christian for a non-league game on Monday, September 8. Community Christian will play a Knights squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK). The Knights record now stands at 5-8.
