The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Howell Central Spartans (St. Charles, MO) and the visiting Parkway Central Colts (Chesterfield, MO), observed Howell Central's softball team notch a victory over Parkway Central by a tally of 11-1.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Lutheran (St. Peters, MO). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Lutheran topped Valley Park (Valley Park, MO), 11-1, in a non-league contest.

The Colts now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lutheran for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 6. Parkway Central will face a Cougars squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Valley Park (Valley Park, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
