The Locust Grove Pirates overwhelmed the visiting Nathan Hale Rangers softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Will Rogers College for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Locust Grove will meet a Ropers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK). The Ropers record now stands at 0-4.

The Rangers (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Memorial (Tulsa, OK). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Memorial was routed by Southeast (Oklahoma City, OK), 15-6, in a non-league outing.
