The Pinewood Christian Patriots routed the visiting Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars softball team by a margin of 8-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Patriots now sport a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wayne County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Pinewood Christian will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Thomas Jefferson Academy moves to 6-4 on the season. The Jaguars travel to David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, September 8. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-1. David Emanuel Academy lost 8-7 in their recent league test against Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA)
