Fans at Friday's league contest between the Catoosa Indians (Catoosa, OK) and the visiting Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK), observed Catoosa's volleyball team top Verdigris by a count of 2-0.
The Indians (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against North Rock Creek (Shawnee, OK). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, North Rock Creek achieved victory over Coweta (Coweta, OK), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Cardinals now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coweta for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Verdigris will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Metro Christian (Tulsa, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 6-13.
