The Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD) volleyball held off the visiting Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD), 3-2 in Friday's league match.
Next up, the Braves battle the Todd County Falcons (Mission, SD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 6. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD).
The Chieftains (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD). The Sioux enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Lower Brule was nudged by Gregory (Gregory, SD), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
