The El Capitan Vaqueros volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Ramona Bulldogs to 0 in the Vaqueros non-league triumph on Friday.
The Vaqueros now have a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. El Capitan will play a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Ramona moves to 3-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to St. Joseph Academy (San Marcos, CA) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league game on Friday, September 5.
