In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Evergreen Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA). The Tempest go into the Freelance test with a 0-1 record.

The Hawks now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairfax Christian for a Northern Virginia test on Tuesday, September 9. Fairfax HomeSchool will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Covenant Christian Academy (Warrenton, VA). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-1.
