In Friday's league challenge, the host Weehawken Indians volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the North Arlington Vikings.

The Indians (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Montclair Kimberley Academy was nudged by Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Harrison for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. North Arlington will face a Blue Tide squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to St. Mary (Rutherford, NJ). The Blue Tide record now stands at 1-1.
