The Lockport Boys JV Soccer Lions started their NFL league play #LionStrong with a victory over visiting Niagara Falls by a score of 7-1.The JV Lions playing at the LHS Stadium on the turf, started off a little tentative. Niagara Falls came out strong and fast, an outstanding defensive effort by Ahjari Burke prevented an early goal. Despite the early jitters, the Lions started to create some offensive pressure. Freshman Shawn Williams, in his first game, received a perfect through ball sent from Captain Ryan Kuebler. Shawn took the pass and sent an absolute rocket past the Niagara Falls goalie. This goal seemed to give the Lions the spark they needed to assert their dominance in the game. Sophomore Captain Jameson Eisenhauer continued to lead the team with his outstanding play, knack for finding the open spaces and putting the ball in the back of the net. Jameson ended the game with 3 goals! A hat trick! Including a dazzling header of a corner kick from Kameron Beaton.
