North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Surry can't hold off Wilkes Central

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Wilkes Central Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the East Surry Cardinals.
The Eagles (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings come into the battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, North Wilkes was edged by West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cardinals encounter the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 8. East Surry will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record.
