The Highland Tech Rams topped the host Shelby Golden Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rams now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherryville for a non-league test on Thursday, September 8. Highland Tech will confront a Ironmen team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Ironmen record now stands at 2-7.
The Golden Lions (3-6) will now prepare for their test against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, East Gaston was knocked off by Forestview (Gastonia, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
