The Topsail Pirates topped the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Pirates now have a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Brunswick for a non-league test on Thursday, September 8. Topsail will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-5.

The Scorpions (7-2) will now prepare for their test against East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Gators enter the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, East Columbus was knocked off by West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
