Next, the Redbirds confront the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 8. Alton will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Rockets enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, IL).

The Maroons now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Gibault Catholic for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 10.
