Match Summary

Our 'Hawks fought valiantly against a tough and talented Indiana team, falling 3-2 in DOUBLE OVERTIME with a little over 5 minutes remaining in the game. We went down 2-0, but a hustle goal by Alec Formaini (assisted by Hunter Reed and a beautiful kick by Brendan Savinda) closed the game with a little over three minutes before halftime.
The Hawks came out with a new fire in the second half, with a tough defense led by Dante Magagnotti, Landyn Johnson, Alex Boback, Miles Stockdill, and Chayton Cribbs kept Indiana from getting good angles on backup goaltender Brendan Savinda, who made a spot start and responded with 34 saves on 37 shots on goal. The midfield wizardry led by Seth Crawford kept near scoring chances to Jordan Callipare and Alec Formaini high as the Indiana team felt the pressure.
With time winding down and desperation setting in, Jordan Callipare scored on a nice shot with formal assists by Hunter Reed and Chayton Cribbs on a ball that was kept in the offensive zone on
