South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Lowville Red Raiders (Lowville, NY), 5-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Spartans confront the Indian River Warriors (Philadelphia, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 8. South Jefferson will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Gouverneur (Gouverneur, NY).
