Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Jackson Jaguars (Atlanta, GA), 18-1 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Mays for a 5A Region 5 challenge on Thursday, September 8.

With the loss, Jackson falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Midtown (Atlanta, GA) to battle the Knights in a 5A Region 5 challenge on Wednesday, September 7. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Midtown lost 17-7 in their recent league challenge against Lithia Springs (Lithia Springs, GA)
