Dunwoody Wildcats (Dunwoody, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Riverwood Raiders (Atlanta, GA), 13-5 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakeside for a 6A Region 4 challenge on Thursday, September 8. Dunwoody will face a Vikings squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Riverwood falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Raiders host Chamblee (Chamblee, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 7. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Chamblee won 14-1 in their recent league challenge against Decatur (Decatur, GA)
