The Perry Panthers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Griffin Bears to 0 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Perry improves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Panthers host Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 7. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 4-6. Hawkinsville won 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Veterans (Kathleen, GA)
In their next game, the Bears clash with the Westside Seminoles (Macon, GA) in a 4A Region 2 game, on Thursday, September 8. Griffin will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
