Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Webster County (Preston, GA), 21-1 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Schley County for a 1A D-II Region 6 challenge on Thursday, September 8. Marion County will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 19-1 league win over Webster County (Preston, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Webster County falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The host Macon County (Montezuma, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 15. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Macon County lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)
